Many people were conditioned to see a delusional view of what weakness truly is. They believe that being soft, emotional, open, gentle, and caring is weakness. While being emotionless, cold, hardened, closed up, rough around the edges, not giving a fuck and acting strictly out of logic, to be "strength." Then there's reality when it comes to true weakness. There's nothing weaker than giving in to something you want that you know is strictly wrong. This is very ignorant and shows a lack of self-control, maturity, morality, intellect, consideration and effort. Emotions aren't what make you weak, it is the way you endure and handle them that determines whether or not you are weak. A mixture of perspective, tolerance, maturity and the actions you base off them, that will show you how strong or weak you really are. running away from them and pushing them down due to fear, denial, insecurity, or unwantedness is true weakness. Weakness is living in an illusion, when too frightened to see or accept the horrifying truth. Weakness is accepting defeat and losing hope, along with it's side effects, unable to get back up when you know you deserve more. We all have our weak areas and moments, it is humanly impossible not to, especially depending on the circumstance, it is where you're weak that shows what kind of person you are. If your weaknesses are used to hurt others that is when it's bad to have that weakness. Embrace and love every part of yourself, and if you are not where you want to be, don't tell yourself "I hate myself" or "I don't love myself" tell yourself "I'm working on it." Self-love begins with self-care and everyone has flaws. We are all capable of change and growth through time, effort, determination, and patience. Never give up, when you have the option to get back up.
