Mother (Poetry)

Get up it's time another day of your life, make the bed and say goodbye to a fragment of the cycle, a tired collage of your life. Brush your teeth after you eat, wash away the bags under your eyes,  up on your feet you hear the cries.  Another sigh between your lips, let go and lose your grip, light exiting through your ribs. Brush away what you can't burry, fingers crossed undo the ties, a strict continuous programing of such a fragile mind, give up and close your eyes, for what's too late you know you tried. A burden so heavy, broken down into repeating portions of a routine. Adaption locking in relief as you’re given your daily dose of peace, as still and steady as you seem, a bottled buried set to rest, on a timer longing to release.  Pick your poison  lock your prize  aim your gun,  close your eyes  pull the trigger and say goodbye. You made your bet, you rolled the dice, what was none but a dream is discovered in your failure,  the life of ...

Reality Check

When observing the world a lot of people each have a different perspective on things entirely. Usually a lot of that is a reflection of who they are as a person entirely. As if their eyes were projecting what they currently feel, think and the outcomes assumed based off past experiences and patterns of their own behaviour, onto everything before them. This involves both their opinions on the particular thing or situation, expectations, assumptions, along with their reaction to that emotionally. These behavioural patterns reflecting their reactions are usually due to assumptions based off fear, delusional, denial, desire, anger, and such. Without being open-minded while assuming things based off what you already know, these create judgments which closes the door to the possibility to having any other experience towards this particular thing unless it is too extreme to ignore, leaving you with the same outcome and view on it. Some people believe the world is beautiful, full of light and...

Fix anything

1: To fix a feeling, you change your thoughts, to alter your perspective, into feeling a different way. 2: Forgiveness, not thinking that something that was done to you was right, but letting go of it and accepting what had happened. 3: Focus on the positive aspect of things, as everything has good and bad sides to it. What you focus on grows. If you are focused on the negative, you will miss the positive as if it was never there, which will create delusions. 4: Be in the present moment, don’t remain in past memories or assuming future scenarios. This will create fear and regret. 5: Challenging yourself to do something rather than dreading it. 6: Express yourself creatively, letting out your feelings and thoughts in a positive way. 7: Don’t fear change or the unknown, by welcoming it and not assuming things based on what you already know or have experienced. 8: observe rather than judge, and don't expect things to happen based on what you already know, a...

Game Over

Very young I’d always watch as my brothers played video games, from halo to those scary ones our parents would never approve of. It was like watching a movie for me. I never much liked playing them myself. Watching other experienced players made it look so easy, as if anyone could play it and excel at it without much effort. Whenever I would play I would get so angry, so impatient as I could never be what others could, no matter how much practice. It’s the same as I live my life today. So conscious to how everyone swifts through their obligations like its nothing. I knew with my mentality it wasn’t so much my environment, it was always me that got in the way of success. I was not the Football player winning all his games, or the popular girl who only had to sit pretty to gain her admirers. I was the one who sat in the stands cheering for the success of others. I never really let myself try too often, as the pressure i put so deeply into the need of avoiding failure, always resulted...

Weakness

Many people were conditioned to see a delusional view of what weakness truly is. They believe that being soft, emotional, open, gentle, and caring is weakness. While being emotionless, cold, hardened, closed up, rough around the edges, not giving a fuck and acting strictly out of logic, to be "strength." Then there's reality when it comes to true weakness. There's nothing weaker than giving in to something you want that you know is strictly wrong. This is very ignorant and shows a lack of self-control, maturity, morality, intellect, consideration and effort. Emotions aren't what make you weak, it is the way you endure and handle them that determines whether or not you are weak. A mixture of perspective, tolerance, maturity and the actions you base off them, that will show you how strong or weak you really are. running away from them and pushing them down due to fear, denial, insecurity, or unwantedness is true weakness. Weakness is living in an illusion, when t...
